To attend the conference, all working Press must obtain Assembly credentials and clearance from the Vietnamese Press Office. Media registration requests can be submitted online.

To be accredited, all journalists must have valid press credentials issued by national or local authorities; or clear evidence that they are on assignment from a specific news organization or publication. A valid assignment letter from that news organization, or publication, is required. This also applies to all freelancers, including photographers. If such credentials are not held, or are in question, it will be at the discretion of the UNDP secretariat to determine whether access to the conference is granted.

Instructions by the Government of Viet Nam:

Foreign Journalists who wish to visit Viet Nam during this time should fill out the Application Letter (Form 01/BC-BNG), attach a scanned passport photo page for each attendee, and send these documents to the Foreign Press Center.
